Dr. Daigee Shaw

Daigee Shaw, Adjunct Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica, and Adjunct Professor at National Cheng-Chi University and National Taiwan University. Dr. Shaw has published many articles in several professional journals, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Environmental Economics and Policy Studies, Climate Change Economics, etc. Dr. Shaw won the Ministry of Education Academic Award for Distinguished Scholarship in 1995. In 2019, his paper entitled "The Impact of Global Warming on Agriculture: A Ricardian Analysis," co-authored with Robert Mendelsohn and William D. Nordhaus (American Economic Review 1994) has been recognized by the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) as the 2019 AERE Publication of Enduring Quality. Dr. Shaw was selected as one of the first two AAERE Fellows in 2023. Dr. Shaw served as President of AAERE from 2012 to 2013. He is a Co-Editor of Climate Change Economics and on the editorial board of Environmental Economics and Policy Studies. He received his Ph.D. in resource policy, economics, and management from the University of Michigan in 1985.


Dr. Shiqiu ZHANG

Dr. Shiqiu ZHANG is a Professor of Environmental Economics at Peking University. She is currently a BOD member of Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis, Senior expert member of UNEP Technology and Economic Assessment Panel for implementing Montreal Protocol and Co-chair of the Task Force for Replenishment of the Multilateral Fund for Implementing the Montreal Protocol (UNEP). She served as a member of Scientific Advisory Panel for UNEP Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC) (2013-2019) and president of Asian Association on Environment and Resource Economics (AAERE) (2017-2019).


Budy P. Resosudarmo

Budy P. Resosudarmo (PhD Cornell U) is a professor at the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, serving as the Head of the ANU Indonesia Project at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University (ANU). His primary research interests span development economics, environmental and resource economics, and public policy. Resosudarmo has spent considerable time exploring the interconnections between natural disasters, environmental conditions, local economies, household incomes, and human development. He also investigates the political economy surrounding environmental policies and resource utilization. His research methodologies include, among others, impact evaluation and spatial and inter-regional modelling techniques. Since the mid-1990s, Resosudarmo has consistently published a series of articles analyzing the impacts of energy, air pollution, and climate change policies on local economies, human welfare, and health conditions in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia.
